Even today’s DJs are going laptop or CD. Betamax tapes. MiniDisc. Laserdisc: the LP of DVD. Scanning the radio dial and hearing static between stations. (Digital tuners + HD radio bork this concept.) (we had one of these until just a few years ago) Finding out information from an encyclopedia. (I didnt get the internet at home till recently.) Sliding the paper outer wrapper off a Kit-Kat, placing it on the palm of your hand and clapping to make it bang loudly. Then sliding your finger down the silver foil of break off the first finger - I still do this! Neat handwriting.( nope. My handwriting looks closer to arabic than english! This list makes me feel soooooooo old. I remember everything except the Kit Kat bar thing (although now I'm going to have to try that). My kids are still being exposed to some of this. I still have a record player, and my 6 year old just learned how to blow the dust out of a NES cartridge herself (She's lovin the Zelda games lately).
