Each state also has some fees on top of the money you pay to your attorney for setting it all up.
This is a very small price to pay for the amount of personal liability that you can shield yourself and your family from in case of a lawsuit. Limited liability Companies do come with some responsibility, such as you must maintain your minutes, do your meetings, and pay the fees to the state each year.
Still, it is a very wise idea and even though I'm not personally an attorney, and this is not legal advice, from personal experience it is the way to go in my opinion.
Why not find a local business attorney and see about setting up an LLC for your business? Even if you run a small company or do business on the Internet you still should look into it. The time to start a limited liability company is before a lawsuit, because once a lawsuit is filed it won't help you and it's too late to set anything up at that point.
When I advise small businesses who are just starting out, I always recommend that they go talk to an attorney and accountant and give them the rundown of exactly what they are doing and I tell them to ask their attorney about setting up an LLC. Maybe you should consider this as well.

Also, the antennas should not be more than 60 feet from ground level or 20 feet from the point of mounting.
Operators must communicate in plain language that is understood by anyone listening to that channel. The use of “ten-codes†or “handles†is permitted, but the use of any veiled communication is not allowed. It’s also illegal to broadcast obscene or profane materials or any communications with regard to illegal activity. Also, any communication that doesn’t relate directly to the operator’s life or household, such as music or updates about a third party, are prohibited.
There are a few things to consider when purchasing a CB Radio, but it need not be a nightmare. Here are a few considerations:
1. What are you going to use it for? This will help determine what features are needed for your intended use. For instance, if it’s for your personal use or hobby, you may want a unit with a wide range of frequencies. Truckers or long distance travelers may require a full featured unit, while business owners or tradesmen may require only limited features but will want powerful, clear transmission.
2. What’s your price range? Higher pricing does not necessarily mean more power or a better quality sound. All CB radios, whether cheap or expensive, have exactly the same power output, 4watts. The difference in power or clarity mostly depends on the antenna and microphone. So your price range will be dictated by the intended use and features you require.
3. Which antenna should you use? As far as length, basically, the longer the antenna, the better the communication. The optimum length is 8½ feet or 102 inches which is ¼ the wavelength. If your intended use means an antenna this length is not practical (mounted on a vehicle) you might consider a coil based antenna which will have the length of wire coiled at its base making it more practical to handle. Handheld units will obviously use a small antenna, usually about 8 inches. However, you might want to upgrade the antenna with a booster unit. With regard to location, the higher the better, and avoid having any part of your vehicle or building block the antenna. Many land based antenna are mounted on high poles and secured with guy wires for stability while vehicle mounted units are usually located on the roof or hood. As for tuning, ideally the antenna and radio unit should be the same brand to minimize compatibility issues, and be sure to have the antenna correctly tuned to the radio unit.
4. Which microphone should you use? This is important! It makes no sense to purchase a fantastic antenna and then use an inferior microphone for transmission. The difference in clarity is huge when a good microphone is matched to a good antenna, and this factor may be critical, if you are using your radio to transmit important instruction on a regular basis.
5. What other features do you need? Again, this is determined by your intended use. For instance, if this unit is on your boat or exposed to outside elements, of course you’ll want it to be waterproof. For a vehicle-installed radio, a “Noise Blanker†or “Automatic Noise Limiter†will be important. This will reduce or remove static noise when your cigarette lighter outlet is being used for accessories. If you’re sight impaired, you may want a backlit screen with bright digitals. So you can see the features are limitless and are determined by your intended use and personal needs.
6. I think the best tip I can offer when purchasing a CB Radio is “Buyer Bewareâ€. Do your homework and purchase from a reputable source. Be sure to check out the warranty offered by the retailer and the manufacturer. If you purchase online, be sure they are a legitimate, active online business with a way to contact them, if need be.

Answer by Dan I'm not aware of any on-line fax service that would allow you to share your existing phone line for calls and faxes. Personally, I tried the "line sharing" approach for a while. It's possible to do, using a fax modem connected to your PC. I forget the one I used (they're all pretty similar), but it had a mode that allowed it "listen" to the call for fax tones and answer as a fax if it heard them, but it turned out to be more trouble that it was worth. What I ended up with is a service from FaxLogic that lets me use my existing fax machine without a phone line. The machine works just like it did with a phone line, but I pay about $ 15/month for what the rest of the world sees as a separate dedicated fax line with its own number. I personally use the machine for sending only, and have my incoming faxes sent to my email, but you can do either. And if you don't want the email and web fax features, I think there's a plan for under $ 10/month that doesn't have these (although I have found them very useful). Anyway, it's a lot cleaner that trying to share the one line.

Firstly, remember YOU are responsible for your bank account [if you decide to put fake checks in your account, YOU must pay the price] There are 3 main characters in this scam: YOU and your bank account THE COMPANY using an invented name or abusing the name of a real company THE CUSTOMER/CLIENT. The company contacts you and asks you to work for them.They tell you "this is 200% legal", "we do not want your bank info", "this wont hurt a bit,here...have some candy" etc Your "job" is to receive payments from customers/clients in your country and "process" them This means the,the money clears in your account and you send the cash to the company minus your 10/15% commission. What actually happens: The "customers/clients" sends you a fake check or transfers money into your account online from a hacked bank account. You put the check in your bank and wait 7 to 10 days for it to "CLEAR" [This a very misguiding word] You use a check cashing service [showing your ID in case the police ever want to visit] Some times the checks are very, very authentic looking.It can take the bank several months to realise its fake. You withdraw the 90% of the cash and send it to the "company" by some anonymous money transfer service like Moneygram or Western Union. Another "customer" [same scammer, different email address] sends another check and you repeat the process until.... Your bank freezes all your accounts and debits your accounts.Dont worry if your accounts are empty they will now have a minus balance and you must pay the bank back. You bank will be a bit confused as to why you are abusing the service they offer and probably call the police. A lot of people have gone to jail trying to explain a story they dont know to police who do not understand!
